In rooms
Where Orla earns its place.
A fluted bronze column under scarlet poppies. It is the lamp you put where people sit down to eat, because the shade reads across the table.
On the dining table
Low enough to talk over, loud enough to be the centre of the table.
Beside a painting
The bronze holds still against a deep wall. The poppies do the rest.
